Why did you remove my update on KC Armstrong becoming overweight, it was referened on the show and is clearly a highly relevant fact given that KC's persona is intimately linked with being fit and handsome?

Template:welcomespam[edit]

Howdy and welcome to Wikipedia! I noticed that you edited the Template:welcomespam message. I think you were trying to get the template to add a signature automatically, unfortunately, all it did was add your own signature. I have reverted the change you made. I think it is possible to get templates to automatically add a signature, however it is not commonly done (the only one I know of is {{idw-pui}}). Why do you continue to remove interesting trivia from the page for XM radio personality Ron Bennington? Is it really up to you to police what is actually trivia? And why isn't it? I can understand the vulgarities in some of it, but not others.

Applied media technologies corp article[edit]

All the information on the AMTC page is readily available from their website - how much more sourced do you need it to be?

Just take a look at Wikipedia:Citing_sources. If the content is on the website it should be easy to do, but you generally want to cite sources not from the website itself. I also fail to see where the content is non-neutral. It's no more slanted than articles for major companies like SIRIUS Satellite Radio or Ford. If there's some particular content that offends, let me know and I will try to reword it rather than have the "This article is a big fat liar" badge that you slapped on top of it.

Then let's improve it. Given that in 15 years no one has made an article about AMTC, I dread to think how long your scarlet letter will remain on the page before some other WikiActivist changes it. Don't just say, "it's wrong", tell me what's wrong, and let's fix it. As you can tell by my contribution history, I'm new at this. So give me a hand, rather than a hammer. Additionally, your blocking my ability to see your changes doesn't help matters much.

Hi, I wanted to indicate I restored the deleted trivia from the Earl Douglas page. While I realize it needs to be integrated into the page and cleaned up, I don't think deleting content randomly is the appropriate way to do it. I don't understand, I am posting factual information?


I am not sure how to sign my posts. I've contributed to wiki for a while but this is the first time I have been confronted for adding facts to a wiki. I don't want to start an edit war. However, months back I went to Tucker's wiki and there was a brief mention of the Opie/Anthony visit. It disappeared a week ago and I felt that it was a cover up and that it needed to be mentioned as it is FACT. I feel like I am being bullied when I am not vandalizing his page. And, now you are against me and what I post, even when its totally video-backed fact.

Thank you for your hospitality. I am a reasonable person but I feel that what is on there now is slightly insufficient. I would be totally satisfied if you mentioned the fact that Opie/Anthony requested evidence for 2 of Max's stories and that Max could not produce: 1. The video tape from the "Tucker tries buttsex" story, and, 2. any police report from the "Absinthe Donuts" story backing it up. Furthermore, this was a public broadcast from someone who is a public figure. And, I feel these are important facts that must be presented to accurately portray him on wiki. Ron and Fez page[edit]

Earl Douglas resigned as executive producer on 7/17. I updated the Ron and Fez info box yet you reverted it to the outdated version showing Earl Douglas as the executive producer and star which he is not. Mr. Douglas may be on air, but he resigned so the fact is that resignation stands until otherwise stated, and as such, he is not executive producer. If you heard it, you know this as well. Logically, you should not restore information saying he is in a position he isnt. If it shakes out differently I will be the first to revise the information, however I dont really see the point in keeping old information on the page considering that it is outdated in this changing situation.
If you can provide a link to show he is the show producer or didn't resign, I will accept your edit. Finally, as you have now reverted my edits twice, I will also ask that you remember the three revert rule and assume good faith in accordance with accepted Wikipedia policy. Thanks! Article Improvement

Upon some discussion on the WikiProject talk page, the Article Improvement Drive page was revamped by Krm500 and Maxim. It was renamed Wikipedia:WikiProject Ice Hockey/Article Improvement, and it includes two section. The first section is called articles in dire need of improvement. It list articles, usually important, that are in very poor shape. The second section is called requested help. Users list an article they request help improving a certain article, which will facilitate collaboration, which is the aim of any WikiProject. There is one article currently listed there, Henrik Lundqvist, here. The goal is to at least get it to Good article status.

Diacritics

In the past few weeks, there has been quite heated discussion about the use of diacritics in article name. The current guideline is using diacritics in the pages of articles of all player names which require them, but redirects are exempt.

Task forces

There have been two new task forces started within the WikiProject to coordinate major topics.

Sweden Ice Hockey task force

This task force was initiated by Krm500. Its current goal is to improve Henrik Lundqvist to Good or Featured article status. It covers all Swedish clubs, leagues and competitions and associated articles, players and coaches that are Swedish, or have played/coached for a Swedish club, and arenas in Sweden. They plan to eventually operate as a sort of a sub-project, which will have its own articles for creation, ranking importance and quality of articles, and co-ordinate article improvement. Its current members are Krm500, Bamsefar75, and CLAES.

New Jersey Devils task force

This task force was initiated by Bsroiaadn. Its goal is to improve New Jersey Devils to Featured Topic status. Although it currently meets the required article count, the task force wishes to improve it further. Its area of coverage is very similar to the Sweden Ice Hockey task force. Its members are Bsroiaadn, JHMM13, FutureNJGov, Sportskido8, Michael Greiner, JRWalko, and Soxrock.

Requested Images

After discussion on the WikiProject talk page, Serte created a page for Requested Images. The page encourages users to license images for use on articles. The page also has section to request images for players, arenas, game situations, miscellaneous, and team and league logos. The page has been quite popular; since it was created on July 21, there have been six completed requests. There are four currently outstanding requests:

Article assessement completed

On July 12, Kaiser matias announced that he had completed assessing all the articles with a {{ice hockey}} tag, sorting them into Category:Unassessed Ice Hockey articles. Kaiser matias has ranked about 9000 articles in that category, and most were stubs, and "have no information at all", according to him. Everybody is encouraged to expand the stubs into real articles. This effort took around 5 months. A big thanks goes to Kaiser matias from me and all the project.

  2. ^ At the time of publishing, there were 5 lists at WP:FLC and 2 lists in the "Holding cell", as there's been an accepted guideline to not put more that 5 trophy lists at the same time to, "compensate for the sanity of the reviewers".

Featured Topic Drive

Started by User:Scorpion0422, the aim of this drive is to make NHL awards a featured topic. A featured topic is basically a set of very high quality articles (good articles and featured articles/lists). In this case, the topic is NHL awards. Many users have helped, including Scorpion0422, Resolute, Serte, Hasek is the best, Maxim, Croat Canuck, Spike Wilbury, FutureNJGov, and T Rex/Dinosaur puppy. The progress has been very good; there are 12 featured lists promoted, and 2 good articles:

Tucker Max Show[edit]

Featured Topic Drive

The original featured topic drive, initiated by Scorpion0422, has concluded succesfully. National Hockey League awards is now a featured topic, with 24 articles in total. Of them, 20 are featured lists, one is a featured article, and the other three are trophy articles that were too short to become featured lists. Eight users signed up to help out, shown here. The next Featured Topic hasn't been decided upon, and the ideas and organization for it fell apart. If you have any ideas, don't hesitate to share them at WT:HOCKEY.

i believe that mcjeff has accused you of vandalism inappropriately. i don't believe that your edit constituted vandalism in any way, nor did it necessitate mcjeff's misuse of rollback on your edit. i recommend that you add your proposed changes first to the discussion page in the future to hopefully prevent this type of incorrect response from editors.
