Hello, Bhw2104,

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Etzedek24 and it's nice to meet you :-)

I wanted to let you know that I’ve proposed an article that you started, Pinchas HaKohen Lintup, for deletion because it meets one of the relevant criterion.The particular issue can be located in the notice, that is now-visible at the top of the article.

If you wish to prevent the deletion:

  1. Edit the page
  2. Remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. Click Publish Changes button.

But, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the raised issues. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Etzedek24}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Etzedek24: I do not understand why you state Pinchas HaKohen Lintup is a "Non-notable religious scholar" and am thus nonplussed as to your request for deleting the article on Pinchas HaKohen Lintup. Perhaps I am misunderstanding your concern: Is it that you believe he is not a major figure, or is your concern of a different nature? I would think the fact that his works and interactions with Rav Kook are actively being discussed on the web and in universities by biblical scholars 100 years after his passing is a testament to his import to Jewish biblical scholarship. Can you please advise as to how specifically you would like to see this article amended and I will be happy to improve upon it to the best of my ability.Bhw2104 (talk) 21:19, 1 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Etzendek24: I have gone in and edited the page as I think you have suggested to improve upon it's explaining Lintup's significance. Specifically, I have added references to contemporary authors who have written about Lintup, his significance as a religious scholar and his place in Jewish history vis-a-vis his exchanges with Rav Kook. I have also removed the language at the top of the page, as you suggested. Thank you for all of your assistance!
