Hi. I happened to catch your question; it was listed in the wrong place.  :) My answer was this:

You're either running the high end too lean or you're using a fuel with a higher nitro content than your engine calls for. You don't want to squeeze every last RPM out of the high end; the goal is to get a nice, steady trail of exhaust smoke. Enriching the high-end mixture will allow more oil to go through the engine.
