No. Thank you![edit]

Really I should be the one thanking you for keeping the 2009–10 Memphis Tigers men's basketball team as updated as you do. My goal was to have a page for at least every NCAA tournament team and have all current pages updated daily. Needless to say its been a tough road since I've had to do so much but having the few people that keep their teams pages as up to date as possible has meant more time for me to do other things. So thank you.Bsuorangecrush (talk) 01:54, 19 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

+1 from me. You're doing a hell of a job on the Tigers' pages. Interwebs (talk) 01:47, 23 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

SVG[edit]

I don't really know that much about images. Yes I have uploaded quite a few but I never really know if I'm doing it correctly or not. So I would love to help but really can't. Sorry.Bsuorangecrush (talk) 22:30, 29 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Basketball[edit]

Hmm, it has been awhile since I've been involved in the policy side on Wikipedia, but for article retention questions the notability guidelines are a good place to start. I believe the general criterion is that the person be the subject of significant coverage in reliable sources. There's also an essay which might be helpful (though it is not an official guideline or policy). Regarding collegiate athletic figures, it states: College athletes and coaches are notable if they have been the subject of non-trivial media coverage beyond merely a repeating of their statistics. Examples would include head coaches, well-known assistant coaches, or players who:

  1. Have won a national award (E.G. a College Football Award), or established a major NCAA record.
  2. Were inducted into the hall of fame in their sport (for example, the College Football Hall of Fame).
  3. Gained national media attention as an individual, not just as a player for a notable team.

I think you can make a good case for someone like Demarcus Cousins under #3, but it's a difficult case to make for poor Willie. Elliot Williams would probably be fine though. Hope that helps. Interwebs (talk) 00:06, 26 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Kit body fulham1011.png[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Kit body fulham1011.png. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 05:56, 15 August 2010 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Salavat (talk) 05:56, 15 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
