This account was used by a legitimate Wikipedia editor who contributed from January to May 2001, and was subsequently taken over by a sockpuppet of JarlaxleArtemis. This was possible because the account was abandoned by its original owner after Wikipedia converted to MediaWiki software in late January 2002. Since there is no way for the original user with this name to gain access to his account, short of developer intervention, this account should remain indefinitely blocked.
