Hi Armystud77, I have reverted your recent additions to Iguana for the time being. You clearly have good material to add to the article, but the manner of how it was inserted was somewhat problematic.
- Please don't remove correctly referenced material and remove it with unreferenced text, as you did in the first paragraph of "Anatomy and physiology". All text must be sourced. And why would you remove that particular (high-quality) source in any case?
- If you add sourced material, the source needs to be provided at the end of the sentence or section using {{ref}} tags. The page software will then transform this anchor into the index numbers in square brackets you see in article view. You apparently tried to "mimic" that look by inserting uppercase numbers yourself, combined with a link to your sandbox. That's not how it works. Orient yourself on the syntax elsewhere in the article (e.g., that reference in the first para of "Anatomy and physiology").
- {{Convert}} templates are used for a reason: they provide a reliable transformation using common factors, so that the conversion does not depend on the editor's math skills. Please don't replace them with manual conversions. If you want to achieve some specific output format, have a look at the linked template documentation.
- Lastly, please use the automatic heading hierarchy, rather than producing manual bold headings using '''. First-level headings are encased by == ... ==, followed by === ... === etc. (Articles rarely if ever go beyond the fourth level)
Please feel free to go ahead and reinsert the material, but keep these points in mind. Minor formatting cleanup of text will be done by any editor who comes across it, but it's necessary to start with an overall well-formed text, otherwise people will just throw up their hands and undo the lot :) Cheers --Elmidae (talk · contribs) 00:40, 6 May 2019 (UTC)
