Delia Webster[edit]

Here's a summary of some of the issues with the additions:

Removal of cited content - replaced with uncited content. See WP:Citing sources - there is also a helpful tool that you can use, see WP:ProveIt that helps create citations.
There are a lot of places where comments are added that should really be added to the article talk page for discussion, not adding comments to the article. See WP:Talk pages for how to use talk pages.
See WP:SURNAME for the use of the subject's surname, versus their first name.
Some weird formatting, like [[Trimble County, Kentucky|Trimble County, .Kentucky]] which then looks like Trimble County, .Kentucky. Why was this change made?

Ok, I have spent hours working on the article and have made fixes and updates. Genealogy books are not generally reliable sources, but there are exceptions. And, tried to find sources to make some of the connections that you mentioned and was not easily finding sources - so I gave up. I am guessing if there's something that's published in biographies by historians, you'd know about it. If you have any questions about the additions that I've made or have additional content and sources, please let me know here - or even better on the article talk page.

Please also take a look at WP:COI. You have declared a family relationship in your edits and edit summary, so this seems to apply. That would mean that the appropriate way to update the article is to {{request edit}}s on the article talk page.–

1. 1. I felt I needed to say I am related to her because I have tried to post information that I can also show proof that it's true and accurate. I understand about a conflict of interest and tried to avoid that, and didn't want to be simply viewed as someone trying to promote her because of the gofundme to raise funds for a tombstone for her unmarked grave. I intentionally just said social media and didn't give the page names or mention the gofundme. Because her 200th birthday is Dec 2017, this is my goal. But I'm letting you know the name of it, because you can view the proof of the information I have because there are screenshots of the newspaper articles that have the date and name of the newspaper that it was from. There's also some pics of the book pages on the Facebook page, like I said, I wanted to show people the actual proof of what I was telling them. Plus, I have a heart condition and don't think I will be around next year, and there won't be anyone to continue it. Also, it seems I'm not able to conform to the exacting standards that you require. Because of my health, it will create more stress than its worth , because I do not have computer, and I haven't had any problems until now trying to type the new information on this page. The page constantly moves around for some reason on my phone, and it's extremely difficult to get the right info in the right space because the page constantly moves back up to the top of the page, very weird. Plus I don't know how to add each symbol in the right order that you require, because the page moves around, it's even difficult to keep track as I type in the words, it's really crazy what it's doing. Since I only have a phone and won't have access to a PC, I don't have a way to ensure I use the proper symbols the way you require. With a PC I'd have a big screen, 2 pages at once, it would be easier for me to learn it, unfortunately with just a phone, it's must about impossible. Anyway, I will continue to try toadd the info you need. I wasn't aware that the pages had owners, I'm sorry you had to waste hours of your time, you seem very bothered by it and I'm sorry I created the problem. One thing I do know for sure, and it's verified in both Eisan and Runyon, and the Webster published genealogy book from 1915, is that Delia father's name is BenAjah, not BenEjah. Her father, her grandfather and great grandfather, were all BenAjah. I would appreciate if his name was shown correctly, and show the wrong spelling in the other/error catagory. You can see a pic of these pages from the Webster Genealogy book on the Facebook page, "Delia Webster, Ugrr, Abolitionist." Also, Delia was 1 of 10 kids, including her. They are all listed in Eisan, pages 34-35. That's why I had made that change, she' wasn't just 1 of 4 girls. The picture is the only that exists of her, with her sisters.

Hi,

I am sorry to hear about your health problems. I have my own and writing helps me get through it and stay as sharp as I can - so I can sympathize.

Noone "owns" an article, but I have been around for awhile, have written 500 articles and reviewed thousands of articles, so I am very familiar with the guidelines for writing good articles.

I'm not annoyed, but I have been confused at times. I'm just a very direct kind of person, I am sorry if my responses were upsetting.

I made updates regarding the father's name and I'll make an update about being one of ten children and the name of the church.
