We always want new editors here on Wikipedia, but the encyclopaedia is not a place to promote yourself or your project. If you there is enough independent coverage about what you're doing, it might indeed be appropriate for there to be an article about you, but it would need to be written neutrally rather than promotionally, not include external links to your work, and be written by someone with no connection to you. You can use the Article Wizard tool, which has an option to create a draft version that you can then get feedback on.

Please note that the subject must meet notability guidelines as shown in independent reliable sources in order to merit an article here. The notability guidelines are at WP:NSCHOOL. The school you want to write about must meet at least one of the guidelines there, or meet the general guidelines (WP:GNG).

You can also create a new article here: Carter G. Woodson Middle School. However, creating articles directly on the mainspace is not recommended if you are not familiar with Wikipedia policies (e.g., notability, verifiability, reliable sources)

@Paytonisboss. Wikipedia is a free and open encyclopedia so anyone can create an article on Wikipedia (you don't need to ask anyone's permission). I encourage you to create new articles using Article Wizard, which has an option to create a draft version that you can then get feedback on.

A few words about the Raúl Article

Hi @CalfRaiser150. When you add new content you need to cite reliable sources (by inline citation) for verification - even if you're writing about an event that most people know about. Please read WP:VERIFY.

Also "the end of the GOAT debate" should not be mentioned here as there is no consensus. Declaring who is the GOAT can be controversial and goes against Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy. Please read WP:NPOV.

I also think that Messi is the best player, however that is a personal opinion, there are many people who have the same opinion as you and me but many others do not, it is a controversial topic. Annh07 (talk) 16:34, 17 March 2024 (UTC)

the cluster is also cited on the German Wikipedia on the KIT page and on the page of clusters of excellence listed for Germany. You can find about 300 publications of the cluster on google scholar. 3DMM2O - Google Scholar

Additionally there is a webpage 3D Matter Made to Order | The Cluster of Excellence (3dmm2o.de) about the whole cluster. There it's shown too that it's a cluster of KIT and University of Heidelberg.

If you can't find any sources that mention their date of birth, it's best not to include that person in the article because new entries require inline citations, please read WP:DOYCITE. Backlog update: The October drive reduced the article backlog from 11,626 to 7,609 and the redirect backlog from 16,985 to 6,431! Congratulations to Schminnte, who led with over 2,300 points.

Re:Not providing reliable sources

Hello @Annh07 I saw that you reverted my edits in the José Raúl Mulino article,

• first of all, i'm from Panama, I saw the elections and so I have knowledge about topic.
• Second of all, I translated that from the Spanish Wikipedia.
• third of all, the Spanish Wikipedia was just providing footnotes (I don't know a lot of footnotes because I don't use them) so I didn't place them in the article.

Last of all, i'm not trying to start a edit war, or a discussion, just wanted you to know this points, have a good day.

Hi @W!kipedista. Yes, I reverted your edits in the José Raúl Mulino article because it was completely unsourced.

Some bold edits are required by Wikipedia policies for example unsourced or poorly sourced contentious material about living persons should be removed immediately and without waiting for discussion (see WP:BLPSOURCE). With some bold edits the reversal of the edit can only be made if the version reverted to includes a citation from a reliable source (see WP:PROVEIT).

Usually, if someone reverts your bold changes, then discuss the proposed changes on the article's talk page and reach a consensus for the changes before reverting a revert (see How consensus emerges during the editing process). Happy editing! Annh07 (talk) 15:45, 11 May 2024 (UTC)
