Proposed deletion of UNBELIEVABLE! THE MOVIE 2016[edit]

The article UNBELIEVABLE! THE MOVIE 2016 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:GNG/WP:NFF: "Films that have not been confirmed by reliable sources to have commenced principal photography should not have their own articles."

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Unbelievable! The Movie[edit]

If you're talking about User:Kiraroshi1976/Unbelievable!!!!! 2015 film, then that actually seems like a better article right now, as it has references and is written in a neutral (rather than promotional) tone. I assume it's still a user-page draft because the creator realises it doesn't yet meet the notability criteria of WP:MOVIE, but you should definitely talk to them about it if you think something has changed since they wrote it.

Wikipedia editors do not need "the permission of the movie director owner and currently producer" to create an article. If you're working with those people to create the article, then you have a conflict of interest and should tread lightly, restricting most of your contributions to corrections and suggestions on the article talk page. Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest. People with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, see the conflict of interest guideline and frequently asked questions for organizations. In particular, please:

avoid editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, its competitors, or projects and products you or they are involved with;
instead, propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);

exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use require disclosure of your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation.

Last but not least: All contributors must not contribute content that violates conflict of interest laws (just as all contributors must respect copyright). The Unfair Commercial Practices Directive is valid throughout the European Union. In a German court decision in 2012 (that also relied on the directive) regarding Wikipedia: "The court held that when a company edits a Wikipedia article, the resulting text falsely creates the impression that the edit has no business-related purpose. By implication, the judges found that the average reader of Wikipedia articles expects to find objective and neutral information." That is a very very important condition, comparable to the FTC Guide" that consumers are likely to believe reflects the opinions, beliefs, findings, or experience of a party other than the sponsoring advertiser”. This expectation by consumers of neutral information on Wikipedia, requires that companies not write "their" WP articles for PR/marketing purposes.

Editors who are compensated for their contributions should make the disclosure by placing the {{connected contributor (paid)}} template at the top of the talk page of affected articles and filling in the parameters. They should also supply this information as part of a list on their user page of all their paid contributions.

Talking to User:Kiraroshi1976 about working together on the final article, and why their draft version is still a draft, would be useful. But the most important thing you can be doing right now is proving that the movie passes WP:NFF, which states that "Films that have not been confirmed by reliable sources to have commenced principal photography should not have their own articles". You need to be able to show a reliable source that confirms that the film has commenced (or completed) principal photography. And if it hasn't actually started photography, it's not ready for Wikipedia yet. --McGeddon (talk) 20:23, 23 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If you've got a source that confirms that the film has commenced principal photography, you can tell User:Kiraroshi1976 about it and they can work on combining their article with yours.
