Locator maps[edit]

Hi! Ganeshk and I are working on a locator map in which each town would be plotted on it. The base map is already ready and the plotting would be done by way of its entering its coordinates based on it's geographical location. (See Template talk:Superimpose, Template talk:Infobox protected area) The map is currently a Wikipedia:Featured picture candidates and we're waiting for it to be featured before resume our work on it. If we get the required number of support votes, then the picture would be featured in a week's time. After that we'll start our work on the maps and populating articles using a bot (programmed script). Once we finalise our testing we'll be putting up our findings on Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Indian cities. I suggest you add the page to your watchlist.

Secondly, please use four tildes ~~~~ to sign your posts. This links to your userpage and stamps the time. Thanks and regards, =Nichalp «Talk»= 14:36, 14 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Help request[edit]

Yes, there is. Only administrators have that function of semi-protecting or fully protecting a page so that only registered users or administrators can edit a page. Is there any way I can help? --Nearly Headless Nick 09:56, 16 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

If you feel that a page is being vandalised, you can report it on WP:AIV using the correct format as instructed on the page. In case you think that some user is adding POV version of his own to the article, you can report it on WP:ANI and try to get administrator assistance. Best wishes. --Nearly Headless Nick 10:30, 10 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
