Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Hello, AlistairBarrie. Hi Edward,

I am Alistair Barrie. I never asked anyone to set up my Wikipedia page, but the biography on here was wildly out of date, and I also do not know who holds copyright for the image you have used.

I merely updated the page with factual biographical details and a recent photo I am licensed to use.

I love Wikipedia, I value it immensely and have contributed to it financially in the past, but it does seem ridiculous that someone else is allowed to upload out of date information about me and I cannot correct it.

Please could you let me know what was wrong with the update I posted, and I will endeavour to change it to fit in with Wikipedia's guidelines.
