I have never interfered with this page till now. But here's the problem--and it may well concern so many others on whom there are biographical pages, not just I.

If a newspaper/website reports a marriage, you include it, but what about divorces? Should they appear in the media before they appear on your page? Media is not the best source for authenticating such life-changes, is it?

If you stick to just this criteria, the whole Wiki will be prone to errors and inaccuracies. My suggestion is that you allow another mode of authenticating, such as a copy or a court record.

Else, you'll have the strange situation in which, say, a person got married, which was reported in the media. So that went into their page. They got divorced, which was not reported. Then either of them got remarried, which was also not reported.

Your page will have the person as still married to a person they divorced, without acknowledging that they got remarried.

In other words, the page would be totally misleading to a general audience.

Please think of a way to solve this.

Tayi Arajakate, that doesn't mean it isn't a reliable source. Political analysis is always opinion writing/journalism, so in that case, how would you find a source to any political discussion based on any thing other than political points of view?
