Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Hello, Aldo caporuscio. hello, my name is Aldo Caporuscio PKA Aldo Nova, and this is a page that talks or gives information about me my professional accomplishments etc. Most of the information on this page is not complete and doesn't even mention a fraction o

F what ive done and what i am doing now. I strongly oppese the fact that the information given on my Wikipedia page must come from others who know nothing of me or about me. I am the only one qualified to give people the proper information about me. I request the permission to edit my own Wikipedia page because the information on the page now is false and unsubstantiated and incomplete. If I am not allowed to edit my page myself, I request to have it taken down.

This is Wikipedia, where nobody is allowed to freely edit their own biography to add puffery and promotion such as "Aldo Nova gave the world the definitive Rock Anthem 'Fantasy,' " which you have tried to insert twice. "Fantasy" has never been the definitive rock anthem. It has never been listed as such by reliable sources such as Entertainment Weekly telling its readers about the most famous rock anthems.

There is a method for deleting biographies: WP:BLPDELETE. The person must not be a public figure, and their notability should be borderline. You are a Grammy-winning public figure, so there is little chance that your biography will be deleted.

Your best bet is to stay on the talk page and propose changes to the biography, asking other people to implement your suggestions. You would go to Talk:Aldo Nova and create a new discussion topic. Binksternet (talk) 16:35, 17 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You are in the unique position of being able to upload a photograph of yourself to Wikimedia Commons. A photo of your selection would represent you in the way you wish to be seen.
