Question about Campbell (index)[edit]

I found a page you created, Campbell (index), while looking at a list of uncategorized pages, and I'm not sure I understand what it's supposed to be about. It seems like a description of how to use the indexes of some sort of records, but doesn't specify what records or why it's listed under Campbell instead of some generic title. It also doesn't make any claims to notability, and reads like a how-to guide, which Wikipedia is not, and so I'm inclined to tag it for proposed deletion, but I wanted to get some input from you first, though, about why you created it and what it's meant to be about. You can just reply here -- I'll be watching this page. Thanks! Pinball22 16:55, 30 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Campbell (index)[edit]

A {{prod}} template has been added to the article Campbell (index), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you endorse deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please tag it with {{db-author}}. Brianyoumans 10:11, 6 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Herb Peterson info[edit]

Hi Aewold -- I'm glad you added the day-date of birth to the Herb Peterson article. I could not find that myself previously, and was criticized. I wonder, can you describe your source? Perhaps the specific source could be added to the article. Also, do you know / does your source say where he was born? If you can, add to the article, or to the talk page of the article, or reply to my Talk page. There was actually a bit of a debate before, about whether it is known that Herb Peterson is American or not, which a location of birth would help address, and is a datum that can always be put into a biography article. Either way, thanks for your contribution already. :) doncram (talk) 03:14, 4 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

How?[edit]

how are you able to start the article america's toughtest jobs without it being instantly deleted??? Pyromania153 (talk) 03:15, 5 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure why my entry was accepted and others were not. Perhaps because I had a few links to other pages within Wikipedia, and included a lot of content from the show's website. --Aewold (talk) 00:35, 8 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Military Tombstone Abbreviations[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Military Tombstone Abbreviations, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. AfD nomination of Family2.0[edit]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Family2.0. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Family2.0. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:02, 22 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
