While objective prose about beliefs, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Can you please elaborate on the specific passages that are soapboxing, advertising, etc.? I am simply listing the research programs that exist at Gladstone, and referencing scientific papers published by the scientists. Adholden (talk) 16:56, 31 July 2012 (UTC)

Sure, Wikipedia has notability guidelines about what kind of material can go into articles and inserting material which is not notable by these standards is called soapboxing or advertising on Wikipedia. The criteria is that material becomes notable when someone other than the creator of the material (a third party) begins publishing on the material. You were trying to insert information about scientists' work based on the papers which they themselves had written. By Wikipedia standards, you should cite what other people have written about these scientists' work, not what the scientists wrote about their own work.

Unrelated to why your content was deleted, you cited pubmed inefficiently. You can input pubmed identification numbers into this template to generate full citations:
