January 2021[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Disappearance of Maura Murray has been reverted.
Your edit here to Disappearance of Maura Murray was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links in references which are discouraged per our reliable sources guideline. The reference(s) you added or changed (https://lostmediaarchive.fandom.com/wiki/112dirtbag's_Missing_Recordings_(2012)) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 21:49, 12 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

January 2021 again[edit]

You were told, just above, that this addition is inappropriate, and yet you re-added it.[1] An internet troll with no real connection to Maura Murray should not be rewarded with unwarranted attention in her article. Don't add it again. If you seriously think it belongs in the article, you need to start a discussion on the article's talkpage. Bishonen | tålk 17:17, 21 January 2021 (UTC).[reply]

Welcome to Project Spaceflight![edit]

I am happy to work with you to get you on your feet. :) What are you most interested in working on? I'm always looking for folks to work with on satellites and missions of the early Space Race. :) --Neopeius (talk) 17:37, 11 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome[edit]

Hello. As a new editor, I thought I might offer you "welcome" and note a few quick points:

  1. You may not be aware of WP:DTR, but it is considered more effective to write a short direct message to more experienced editors. Rather than relying on generic welcome or warning templates. I have been contributing to this project for 16 years; including as an admin on sister projects. In that time I am happy that I have built-up an understanding of our guidelines. And, while the spirit is appreciated, do not really need you to "welcome" me to the project. Thanks all the same.
  2. You may not have read WP:AGF fully yourself, but pointing out clear and obvious falsehoods (like a spurious claim that SpaceShipTwo carried anything or anyone into space a half-decade before it's first powered tests) is not a breach of AGF. I made no comment on the user or user's intentions. My comment was on the overtly untrue claim. Including the clear misreading of the source which lead to that false claim. While I should have considered whether caps were strictly necessary in the EDSUMM (in which I explained why I was removing that rubbish), neither the removal of rubbish (nor an explanation of why something is rubbish) is an issue relative to AGF. AGF, as you know, is about making assumptions about an editor's intentions. Which was/is not the case. While I perhaps should have considered the use of caps in my EDSUMM, I am otherwise happy with my understanding of the relevant guidelines. Thanks all the same.

Have fun on the project. Guliolopez (talk) 01:37, 23 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Feedback for Draft New Article?[edit]

Hi, I see you're an active editor and member of the Spaceflight Wikiproject. I’m working on a rough draft of a new article here [2] for my satellite communications company E-Space, which I hope to submit to the Articles for Creation queue because as an E-Space employee I have a COI and can’t publish it on Wikipedia myself. But since I can see that the queue is very long and I want to have the best possible chance of approval when it gets submitted there, I was wondering if you might be willing to have a look at the draft and point out anything that needs to be improved first?

Thanks very much for your time! Talex000 (talk) 22:27, 8 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
