About the film, per WP:FILMRELEASE, Release dates should therefore be restricted to the film's earliest release, whether it was at a film festival, a world premiere, or a public release, and the release date(s) in the country or countries that produced the film, excluding sneak previews or screenings. If other release dates are found to be notable, it may be appropriate to include them in the main body of the article. So, the Karnataka date can be added in the lead, but not in the infobox. • Public theatrical release date of Thithi film is 6 may 2016(in Karnataka,India) and remember Karnataka is in India. So the released date in India should be 6 may 2016 and it should be in infobox. 3 June 2016 can be included in the body of the article. • What you are saying is right that it was first released in Karnataka. However, WP:FilmRelase says that the infobox should only have two dates - the date of its premiere, which in the case of Thithi, is Locarno Festival, and the country's release, which is India and not Karnataka. • Since Karnataka is a state in India, country's release date would be 6 May 2016 (You can't ignore it's release date in Karnataka). Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
