Nephite Church of Christ listed at Redirects for discussion

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Nephite Church of Christ. Since you had some involvement with the Nephite Church of Christ redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion (if you have not already done so). Scouting Barnstar

The Scouting Barnstar
- for contributions to the Scouting in Arkansas article. --evrik (talk) 16:33, 9 March 2013 (UTC)

Scouting in Arkansas

Great work on Scouting in Arkansas. I have worked on the article some more alphabetizing it, adding templates, etc. I have been working on the "Scouting in ... " pages and have been updating them all very slowly. I just finished Scouting in California. You may want to look at that article to see the types of information that is missing in the Arkansas article. You may also want to look at Talk:Scouting_in_Arkansas to see some of the historical information that can be folded into the article. Cheers. --evrik (talk) 16:33, 9 March 2013 (UTC)

Table of camps

I saw your table of camps this morning while I was working on some camp articles. Is this meant to be a companion list to List of summer camps#Boy Scout camps (USA)? If so, have you seen Category:Local council camps of the Boy Scouts of America and Category:Defunct local council camps of the Boy Scouts of America? There are a fair number of council articles and redirects already out there. Let me know if I can help. --evrik (talk) 15:51, 21 May 2013 (UTC)

Actually, I was using my sandbox here for a different Wiki page (Scoutwiki). The table came from elsewhere, however due to a mistake by an admin there my IP address was blocked for a short time. So I was using my sandbox here to keep working. I had no intention to us use it on Wikipidea.--ARTEST4ECHO (talk/contribs) 16:50, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
Too bad! --evrik (talk) 18:39, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
If you want to use it's that's fine. I'm sorry I miss understood. I thought you were telling me that you didn't think it was nessicary due to the current use of Category:Local council camps of the Boy Scouts of America and Category:Defunct local council camps of the Boy Scouts of America. It's not complete yet, but when I'm done your welcome to use it.--ARTEST4ECHO (talk/contribs) 12:27, 22 May 2013 (UTC)
  • Let me know when you're done. We can make an article local council camps of the Boy Scouts of America. --evrik (talk) 14:44, 22 May 2013 (UTC)
    • It is far from ready to be moved to a live page. It can wait till it's more complete. :-) --evrik (talk) 13:19, 28 June 2013 (UTC)
      • If it's moved to a live page then everyone can help with it.--ARTEST4ECHO (talk/contribs) 13:20, 28 June 2013 (UTC)
        • Let me clean-it up a little more first. I will finish California (I was working on it separately), and I will fix the rest of the table headers. --evrik (talk) 13:29, 28 June 2013 (UTC)
  • Okay. It's not done, but I took it live. --evrik (talk) 21:33, 1 July 2013 (UTC)

A's

I hope you meant to say that you agreed with Adjwilley and not Ashwinr in this comment. Ashwinr is the one pushing for calling him a "homophobe" and I'm the one invoking WP:LABEL. ~Adjwilley (talk) 17:43, 17 July 2013 (UTC)

Sorry, I have Corrected it--ARTEST4ECHO (talk/contribs) 17:46, 17 July 2013 (UTC)
No problem, and thank you. It's not the first time I've been mixed up with someone whose username starts with A. :-) ~Adjwilley (talk) 17:51, 17 July 2013 (UTC)

Great work!

Thanks for your infobox work at Emma Smith. Fantastic!  :) A Sniper (talk) 20:02, 31 July 2013 (UTC)

Infobox work at Joseph Smith

Thanks for your help on the infobox at Joseph Smith! Do you know of a way to take the portals off of the infobox? It defaults to those two portals... -Trevdna (talk) 18:38, 23 August 2013 (UTC)

I'm not sure what your asking for. The portals have been off for several days.--ARTEST4ECHO (talk/contribs) 21:52, 23 August 2013 (UTC)

Don't worry

Don't worry! I've removed your AN thread per WP:IAR, since the business part of it is now on ANI. Happy editing! Bishonen | talk 14:19, 11 September 2013 (UTC).

I noticed. Normally I don't worry that much about things, but I've had some bad experiences with the AN thread and the Joseph Smith page. On top of that, since I was complaining about the other user editing things after they had been posted, I didn't think it was a good idea to do the same, even thought it really wasn't an issue.--ARTEST4ECHO (talk/contribs) 14:24, 11 September 2013 (UTC)
Ah, an intricate point. You're probably wise to play it safe, then. Bishonen | talk 15:19, 11 September 2013 (UTC).

Jos Don Carlos Young

I am a descendant and would like to know if the picture you posted is available to copy and post on a genealogical website? 184.101.23.112 (talk) 06:40, 11 November 2013 (UTC)

To the best of my non-legal ability, if your talking about File:Joseph Don Carlos Young.jpg, then the image is Public Domain (can be used by anyone) since "Works of unknown authors or where the author's death date is unknown are copyrighted until the shorter of 95 years since the first publication or 120 years since their creation"- See 17 USC 302. The image's author is unknown and it was taken in 1891 making it over 120 years old.
However, if the image you are wanting to use is a different one, you have to be careful. Some of the image I have uploaded are "Fair Use" and therefore are covered by copyright law. The best way to know is where the image is stored.
Any image on this list is probably "Fair Use", or it's copyright status cannot be determined, so it has been uploaded to the English Wikipedia pages. It's use is NOT free.
Any image on this list has to be freely licensed, or it wouldn't be allowed to be uploaded to "Wikimedia Commons". It's use is free.
So the answer to your question is, if your talking about File:Joseph Don Carlos Young.jpg, then yes, otherwise any image on this list, is free to use, otherwise make sure that it hasn't been uploaded as "Fair Use".
If your looking at File:Joseph Don Carlos Young.jpg, the source of the image, "Brigham Young High School History: Joseph Don Carlos Young" has additional images that are pubic Domain for the same reason.--ARTEST4ECHO (talk/contribs) 16:31, 11 November 2013 (UTC)

Titus Billings

Dear Arttest4echo, + My apology - I made a mistake and wrote a letter in your box after clicking on 'where to find me'. I moved the conversation to the talk tab.Notso Fast 53 (talk) 06:40, 18 November 2013 (UTC) − You asked me to provide documentation for the changes that need to be made on the Titus Billings page - in particular the photograph of the home incorrectly labeled as "Titus Billings" page. Please note:

The walking tour has been updated. If you click on your own link you will see a reference to both the Billings/Houggard house @ #25 and the Robert Johnson house @ #26.

http://sanpete.com/downloads/Manti%20Walking%20Tour.pdf

The National Park Service page that you reference is correctly labeled as the Billings Houggard house but that house is across the street from the house in the photograph. If you read the fine print in the NPS nomination you will see that the Billings Houggard house faces South. The house in the image faces west. (In fact, there is no evidence that Titus lived in this house either. He owned the block where this house stands, but his son probably lived in this home. SanpeteCounty does not have their records on line so I am unable to reference this claim.)

http://image1.nps.gov:9001/StyleServer/calcrgn?browser=gen&x=248&y=180&cat=NRHP&item=Text%2F80003948.djvu&rgn=-0.2582938389%2C0.0597340060%2C1.2582938389%2C0.9402659940&style=nps%2FFOCUS-DJview.xsl&wid=640&hei=480&oif=jpeg&props=item%28SUMMARY%2CCOPYRIGHT%29%2Ccat%28Name%29&cmd=zoomin&page=0&numpages=6&as_fid=FWaj17ji7sMd6h1GgUlo

The google map reference is incorrect because it points to the Robert Johnson house instead of the Billings Houggard house. I should be removed.

There is a photo of the Billings Houggard house on the NPS page. If I could figure out how to upload a photo for you to save you some time I would have posted it here.

Would you be so kind as to update the references which are incorrect? I have tried to comply with your request and believe that you will find these references to be correct. Please give me a break here. You know what you are doing and I don't - you have made that obvious, but I am trying. The photo is incorrect and should be removed. Please help me.
