Welcome[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!

Someone using this IP address, 66.109.35.62, removed content without giving an explanation. Please always provide an informative edit summary when removing content from pages. If 66.109.35.62 is a shared IP address and you did not do this, you may wish to consider getting a username to avoid confusion with other editors and further irrelevant notices.

Here are a few good links for newcomers:

Here are some other hints and tips:

  • I recommend that you get a username. You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free and non-intrusive, requires no personal information, and there are many benefits of having a username. (If you edit without a username, your IP address is used to identify you instead.)
  • When using talk pages, please sign your name at the end of your messages by typing four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically produce your username (or IP address) and the date.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my talk page, or type {{helpme}} here on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome! DBaK (talk) 00:31, 29 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Suppressing information[edit]

Hi. This edit and its misleading edit summary were not cool. If you want the name removed you probably need to address the issue rather better than that. As it's referenced information you might want to start by asking for help at the WP:TEAHOUSE and establishing what way forward might be possible. Best wishes DBaK (talk) 00:33, 29 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

January 2024[edit]

Synorem, please review my edit summaries before making any further reverts. The content I removed clearly does not belong in the article. Thank you. 66.109.35.62 (talk) 18:19, 3 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Green checkmarkY Appeal Accepted: I apologize, it seems like I had made a mistake and as such I have restored your edits. Your warnings have also been removed.

Hi, you're removing large chunks of content. Although you are using edit summaries, they're vague references to policy rather than specific problems with the edits. I suggest you post your concerns in more detail at Talk:Jim McGreevey. I won't revert you again but I can't guarantee anybody else won't. Hello, I'm Patient Zero. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Mashed potato, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Patient Zerotalk 23:48, 20 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to use disruptive, inappropriate or hard-to-read formatting, as you did at Mashed potato, you may be blocked from editing. There is a Wikipedia Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Your edits are careless. Slow down and read the Manual of Style before further editing. Editors have to check your contributions for accuracy, style and sources. You are occupying the time of several other volunteers. Zefr (talk) 00:01, 21 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
