September 2020[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a message letting you know that one or more of your recent edits to Death of Elisa Lam has been undone by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.

Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 22:37, 17 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon Do not use multiple IP addresses to disrupt Wikipedia, like you did at Death of Elisa Lam. Such attempts to avoid detection, circumvent policies or evade blocks or sanctions will not succeed. You are welcome to contribute constructively to Wikipedia but your recent edits have been reverted or removed. If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia you may be blocked from editing without further notice. I think that it is VERY clear that you are using multiple IP addresses (as well as creating an account) to create hoaxes surrounding Elisa Lamm and to avoid getting blocked. This hoaxing vandalism is NOT funny and NEVER was funny. Train of Knowledge (Talk) 06:01, 20 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Sockpuppet investigation[edit]

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/65.34.37.206, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.
