Sockpuppet investigation

Request reason:

My account and bxuzabc’s account were created around the same time because we were tasked at the same time to create a Wikipedia for the shared discord that we are on. I have proof that our writing styles are completely different and that we have two different accounts on our mutual discord. First I was clearly the editor and bxuzabc was the writer. Why would we bother to create two different accounts with different functions, that makes no sense. Occam’s razor would demonstrate that the most likely idea, that three seperate people were collaborating on a wikipedia would make more sense than one person creating three alts to work on one page. [[1]] is the link to the discord that shows me and bxuzabc as two separate accounts. Spicy is in a different region and party from me and bxuzabc on our server, and I dont have access to links showing all three of our names. However spicy’s role was to add to the southwest, his region, and to make a list of regional legislators. Can you please unblock me, I need this account to work for my wikipedia page. I was tasked to edit the page by bxuzabc. All together the project idea was created by bxuzabc and then approved by the president on the server. To add, bxuzabc and I tasked spicy with creating the southwest and regional legislature pages.55rox55 14:15, 27 July 2019 (UTC)

So, let's be clear here: If unblocked, you are not going to be permitted to use Wikipedia as a web host for information about your Discord server. There are other outlets that would serve that purpose, but it's not something we would allow. Do you have other things that you are interested in editing? I want to have this account open to do projects in the future. I understand if the wikipedia page that I was working on might not have been suitable for wikipedia (we will probably do a wikia for it), but I still want to have the ability to have an account on wikipedia. Banning this account, according to the wikipedia rules, would mean that I would not be allowed to ever have an account on this site. At this point I also don’t see any reason to continue the block, as I feel I have clearly disputed the evidence provided against me. What can I show to you that will get me unbanned, because right now I see no path to being unbanned? 55rox55 15:03, 27 July 2019 (UTC).

I have no fundamental objection to somebody unblocking you. But, I want to echo what Seraphimblade said; the reason people have accounts here is so they can help write the encyclopedia. When you say you want to, "do projects", I'm not sure what you mean. There's only one project here, and that's writing wikipedia. Promoting specific organizations, whether done by yourself or in concert with other users, whether for pay or not, is simply not why we're here. As long as you understand that, I'm fine with accepting that your initial mis-use of wikipedia was simply an innocent misunderstanding. -- RoySmith (talk) 15:12, 27 July 2019 (UTC)

I understand what you are saying. I want to have an account on this site so that I can create/edit wikipedia pages in the future. I now understand why my page was not right for this site, and I will make sure to more clearly check with the wikipedia rules before creating another page. The purpose of the page was to provide information, not to advertise, however I can clearly see now that even still the page is not meant for wikipedia. I misunderstood the correct use of wikipedia. RoySmith has already stated that he has no objection to unblocking, and I don't see a reason you need to stay blocked given what you've said here, so I'll unblock you. If you do want to move your Discord stuff to a wiki farm like Wikia and would like me to email you a copy of the deleted page to do so, let me know.
