I think both Chindia and South African Development Community are excellent wikipedia articles to make contributions to. There are no updates to the SADC page after 2009. What to do if you doubt a statement you see[edit]

Hello, thank you for posting to my talk page. You asked how you can tag a statement in an article as problematic. There are a few ways you can do this, depending on the problem. All of them involve posting a "template" at the end of a sentence. A template is a code command which, after you save it, pulls a template response. Here are some options:

Post {{fact}} after the statement.^{[citation needed]}
Use any other template, including {{Clarify}}, {{Verify source}}, {{Dubious}}, or others that seem right at Category:Dispute templates.

If you use these templates, please also leave a note on the talk page of the article explaining why you used the template, and what you want done in response.

However, you might find that you can resolve the problem yourself. If someone made a claim which is not backed with a citation, and you doubt the claim, then it is best to simply delete the entire sentence. The rule on Wikipedia is that information should be verifiable, and if information is not already verified with a citation then you can remove it.

Alternatively, if you like the sentence and it is lacking a citation, you can add one yourself if you like.
