Your submission at Articles for creation[edit]

I noticed your submission in Articles for creation, Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Jean-Marc Rouvière. Thanks! It will be reviewed by a volunteer soon.

Before it can be added to Wikipedia, your submission should have references. All articles on Wikipedia should have inline, numbered references after facts, showing the 'reliable source' (a newspaper, book, etc.) where the information can be checked, so that all information is verifiable.

Here's a video tutorial - hit play, then right-click for "full screen".

Here's an example of how to add references:

Chzz is 98 years old.<ref> "The book of Chzz", Aardvark Books, 2009. </ref>

He likes tea.<ref> Smith, John. "[http://foonews.com/Article42 Interview with Chzz]", Foo News, 1 April 2010. Retrieved 2011-05-22. </ref>

== References ==

{{reflist}}

That makes the references automatically display as small numbers[1] which will link to the details in the section titled == References == at the end. You can see that example in action here.

Please add references to your submission, which will be reviewed as soon as possible. See also, Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners. If you need any help, just put {{helpme}} at the end of this page, followed by a question or get into our live help chat chanel at #wikipedia-en-help connect.

April 2012[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, we would like to remind you not to attack other editors, as you did on Talk:Ludwig Wittgenstein. Please comment on the content and not the contributors. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. You are welcome to rephrase your comment as a civil criticism of the article. Thank you. Alcmaeonid (talk) 16:50, 14 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not delete or edit legitimate talk page comments, as you did at Talk:Torquato Tasso. Such edits are disruptive and appear to be vandalism. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Alcmaeonid (talk) 16:53, 14 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. The next time you make personal attacks on other people, as you did at Ludwig Wittgenstein, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Comment on content, not on fellow editors. this edit is part of a continuing pattern of disruptive talk page edits. I believe you are using sock accounts as well. Please do not add or change content without verifying it by citing reliable sources, as you did to Frederick the Great. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. A Personಠ_ಠ 02:14, 5 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did at Category:LGBT writers from Austria, you may be blocked from editing. That template is there for a reason. In case you missed the link, it's WP:BLPCAT. Favonian (talk) 17:10, 18 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

September 2012[edit]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did at Category:LGBT writers from Austria, you may be blocked from editing. Thank you.

Further unexplained removals of valid templates on LGBT-related category pages will be reverted on sight and may result in page protection and/or blocks of IP addresses involved in the disruption.

Hello, I'm SunDawn. I wanted to let you know that I removed one or more external links you added to Le Meurice because they seemed inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. Information icon Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Plaza Athénée. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. Perhaps, but this was PHOTOS of the decorated salons that you don't find eleswhere, by the OFFICIAL Office du tourisme of Paris, not by the hotel himself, so I find your policy completely ridiculous. Bye. 194.153.110.6 (talk) 05:31, 19 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

November 2022[edit]

Information icon Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that you recently added commentary to an article, LGBT culture in San Francisco. While Wikipedia welcomes editors' opinions on an article and how it could be changed, these comments are more appropriate for the article's accompanying talk page. If you post your comments there, other editors working on the same article will notice and respond to them, and your comments will not disrupt the flow of the article. However, keep in mind that even on the talk page of an article, you should limit your discussion to improving the article. Article talk pages are not the place to discuss opinions of the subject of articles, nor are such pages a forum. Thank you. Adakiko (talk) 09:43, 17 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The Society for Individual Rights[edit]

Create the article: wp:Articles for Creation. You could also request the article be created, but you might have better success by doing it yourself. wp:Requested articles I recommend getting an wp:account! Cheers Adakiko (talk) 09:45, 17 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

July 2023[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. In your recent edit to Battle of Arles (471), you added links to an article which did not add content or meaning, or repeated the same link several times throughout the article. Please see Wikipedia's guideline on links to avoid overlinking. Thank you. jlwoodwa (talk) 10:42, 1 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Undefined harvsp reference in Jean Poyer[edit]

Hi, in this edit to Jean Poyer you added a harvsp reference {{harvsp|Taburet-Delahaye|Bresc-Bautier|Crépin-Leblond|2010}}. Unfortunately there is no corresponding work listed, so nobody can look the reference up, and the article is added to Category:Harv and Sfn no-target errors. If you could supply the missing source it would be appreciated. DuncanHill (talk) 23:35, 12 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It's OK, I found it in the French article and have added it. DuncanHill (talk) 23:58, 12 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry Duncan, I had tried to copy the reference from the translation in English of the French article but did it uncompletly. Thank you for your addition of the source.
I Precise that 194.153.110.6 is a computer identity common to many persons working at the city of Paris, like me. I make contributions about art and those made on other topics are normally not mine :+) 194.153.110.6 (talk) 02:13, 13 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
