February 2019[edit]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Abuse of power. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. Edit Summaries[edit]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

I noticed your recent edit to Jada Pinkett Smith does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → check Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! --David Tornheim (talk) 12:35, 7 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Strange edit at Jada Pinkett Smith[edit]

@Binksternet: Can you take a look at this edit in the context of the edit history of this IP. It was made only 1 minute after the previous edit. That makes little sense to me. How could someone do all that work in only 1 minute, unless it was prepared in advance? Why would all that be prepared in advance? Something seems off here. I would like to know your thoughts.

IP 167.21.142.28: If you would care to talk to us and explain, that would be wonderful. --David Tornheim (talk) 12:46, 7 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I don't trust anything from this IP. I reverted the changes. Binksternet (talk) 13:27, 7 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Me either. Thanks. As you can see I pinged Drmies below who had previously and strenuously warned the IP (above). --David Tornheim (talk) 13:32, 7 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

May 2019[edit]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Ernest Borgnine. --David Tornheim (talk) 12:58, 7 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Red Buttons. This edit changing the date of death is not acceptable. --David Tornheim (talk) 13:00, 7 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia, as you did at Jason Lee (actor). --David Tornheim (talk) 13:13, 7 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Drmies: You warned this editor before to stop vandalizing. I believe there might be enough recent disruptive edits, particularly edit to warrant administrative action. --David Tornheim (talk) 13:15, 7 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
