e-mail address[edit]

You included an e-mail address in the article talk page of St Basil's Cathedral Moscow. This is a very bad idea unless you really want hundreds of spam e-mails offering viagra and penis enhancements. Although I am not aware of any prohibition on publishing your e-mail address, I would still remove it if I were you (but it will still be present in the Wikipedia archive - there is nothing you can do about this). 86.183.28.24 (talk) 12:10, 12 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

December 2019[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Upsidedown Keyboard. I noticed that you recently removed content from Chandala without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Upsidedown Keyboard gonna take my horse... (talk) 17:47, 16 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Chandala, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. You have removed referenced material. Please use the article's talk page to discuss such changes first. Ifnord (talk) 17:52, 16 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose their editing privileges. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to result in loss of your editing privileges. Thank you. Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Chandala, you may be blocked from editing. You have removed referenced material. PLEASE use the article's talk page to discuss such changes first. A claim of "irrelevant" isn't an explanation, it is an opinion. Ifnord (talk) 17:56, 16 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
