July 2022[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm LichF. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Lysychansk have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. LichF (talk) 08:56, 4 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

how is that not constructive? the city is part of LPR, was under Ukrainian occupation from 2014 and now is liberated by LPR fighters backed by Russia. 103.225.23.94 (talk) 08:57, 4 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
It is accurate to say it is "occupied" by Russia since it is widely considered to be Ukrainian territory, but it is currently controlled by the Russian military and Russian-backed forces. Saying it was "liberated" is not neutral ("captured" is significantly more neutral), and Wikipedia should be written from a neutral point of view. LichF (talk) 09:04, 4 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
then keep the word controlled as many of LPR fighters are actually locals and now re-united with their families. ukraine army has no business being there. 103.225.23.94 (talk) 09:05, 4 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Please discuss this on Talk:Lysychansk (the most recent post (bottom) is about this very dispute). LichF (talk) 09:27, 4 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
