Welcome![edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions, such as the ones you made to Red Symons. I hope you like the place and decide to stay.

Here are some links to pages you may find useful:

You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but if you wish to acquire additional privileges, you can simply create a named account. It's free, requires no personal information, and lets you:

Note that in order for the first three features to be available, you must have had an account for a certain number of days and made a certain number of edits.

If you edit without using a named account, your IP address (1.42.219.97) is used to identify you instead.

I hope that you, as a Wikipedian, decide to continue contributing to our project: an encyclopedia of human knowledge that anyone can edit. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, or you can click here to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. We also have an intuitive guide on editing if you're interested. By the way, please make sure to sign and date your talk page comments with four tildes (~~~~).

Happy editing! HiLo48 (talk) 08:45, 30 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Wayward Vagabond[edit]

Hey AnUnnamedUser!

This is my friend (whom I call Wayward Vagabond after a character I really like from Homestuck)

I'm looking at the at the relevant edits at Booker Group, and I can't see how this was vandalism. WV here seems to have just forgotten to press the shift key? –MJLTalk 01:15, 25 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

It broke the infobox and caused the code to show instead of the template. It would generally be considered an editing test by me. From AnUnnamedUser (open talk page) 01:17, 25 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I mean, then why not fix it? Why leave this level three warning for a user acting in good faith?
Nevermind the fact that this clearly isn't vandalism. Attribution: Twitter (CC-BY-4.0)MJLTalk 01:59, 25 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
My action was a mistake, and I am sorry. I thank you for discussing reverts of mistaken "vandalism" with me. From AnUnnamedUser (open talk page) 03:06, 25 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
It's no issue! Thank you for being open and honest about it. I generally am supposed to monitor this user's edits, so if something really problematic happens I try to be on top of it. That said, WV has recently kept themselves out of trouble; so I was more than a little surprised to see this message on my talk page (ie. WV thinking they did something really wrong).
Either way, thank you for understanding! MJLTalk 03:58, 25 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm James-the-Charizard. I noticed that you made an edit to a biography of a living person, Margie Hines, but you didn’t support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. James-the-Charizard (talk to me!) (contribs) 15:46, 19 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Martin Urbanec. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —specifically this edit to Sarah Knauss— because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help desk. Thanks. Martin Urbanec (talk) 15:47, 27 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I am not sure adding <ref name="grg" /> and similar is a proper citation. For that reason, I've previously reverted your edit. Could you please explain what this adition means? Thanks, --Martin Urbanec (talk) 15:52, 27 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Recent edit to Harry Spear[edit]

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Harry Spear, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you!
