Speedy deletion of Matt Spargo[edit]

A tag has been placed on Matt Spargo requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Attacks in the article James Hood (Hoody)[edit]

Please do not make personal attacks as you did at James Hood (Hoody). Wikipedia has a strict policy against personal attacks. Attack pages and images are not tolerated by Wikipedia and are speedily deleted. Users who continue to create or repost such pages and images, especially those in violation of our Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons policy, will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Thank you. Cricket[edit]

Your "Wessex Boys" article failed this guideline, if that's what you're talking about. It was an extremely short article that didn't "indicate why its subject is important or significant" - I don't even remember it mentioning that it was a cricket team, it just mentioned being in a particular division and gave a list of names.

If your team's been in the papers, or has won any significant tournaments, that should be mentioned in the article, and might be enough to meet the above guideline. Local sports teams generally have to have done something pretty significant to merit a full encyclopaedia article, though. --McGeddon (talk) 10:10, 14 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
