edit warring and sock puppetry[edit]

The edit warring is bad enough. The fact you are an obvious single-purpose sock puppet is just icing on the cake. If you want to post a non-English title as the main phot for an English article, take up an RfC and get consensus.

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Ultraman shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Your upload of this English language title card is not being used properly. It does not belong in the "title" parameter of the infobox. You are right that the title card should be used there rather than the random screencap of Ultraman from the television series, but you're setting it up wrong and only angering Medeis.—Ryūlóng (琉竜) 18:31, 15 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • I am not angered by 00717F's actions. Using the english title card and an image of ultraman is a perfect compromise. There no reason for reverting this after it had been worked out. I am restoring the card and image version. μηδείς (talk) 18:45, 15 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
No, you're wrong. The title card should not be put in the "show_name" parameter, and the infobox should include the title card rather than a single screenshot from a random episode of the TV series which does not represent the subject over all, but it does have its usage in the article proper, where it is constantly put by plenty of other editors after you restore your version. You clearly do not have consensus to have the screencap from the Gyango episode in the infobox so stop now.—Ryūlóng (琉竜) 18:50, 15 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Requested move on original Star Wars films[edit]

Hi. There is currently a poll on the talk pages regarding the titles of the two movies in question. Please cast your vote there as polls will be closing soon. Thanks in advance.--Nadirali نادرالی (talk) 20:15, 29 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Unfortunately you just missed it. it was on the talk pages of the original Star Wars films. I am proceeding to discuss with the possibility of re-opening the polls and give it more time so all Star Wars contributors can see it.--Nadirali نادرالی (talk) 22:31, 30 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Recent edit to Return of the Jedi[edit]

My understanding, from the sources, is that it was originally released simply as Return of the Jedi, and later the Star Wars episode was added. Note the theatrical poster in the article (not basing it on that, but just as an example). Thank you! Onel5969 (talk) 22:54, 3 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
