Welcome to the signature factory! Here is the basic format:

—Your comment. (YOUR_USERNAME) ^{(Your talk)}

Go into 'edit this page', copy and paste the markup for the basic format into the 'Signature' box on your preferences page and change the colour, comment and name how you like. Then, tick the 'Raw Signature' box. Then, you can just put four tildes (~~~~) as usual when you sign, and your new signature with all its formatting will come up. Oh... and make sure it doesn't exceed 255 characters!
