A nerdfighter is a dedicated follower of Hank and John Green's Brotherhood 2.0 Project. Nerdfighters gather on two main websites, the Nerdfighter Ning and My Pants, the official Brotherhood 2.0 forum.
"Nerdfighter" is a term created by the "vlogging" brothers Hank and John Green. A Nerdfghter is a normal person who is made entirely up of awesome. More information can be found at Youtube.com with the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FyQi79aYfxU
Etymology[edit]
The term "nerdfighters" first appeared in John's February 1, 2007 video. While waiting for a flight in the Savannah International Airport, John misread the title on an Aero Fighters video game machine in the airport arcade. In his February 15, 2007 video, John further discussed the term, debating if nerdfighters fought against nerds or were nerds themselves.
