Politics seems to be an interesting area on Wikipedia; I can think of no area where more abuse can happen than by members of the major parties being allowed to have free reign. We call the US society free; too often it appears more like freedom is enjoyed soley by the tyrants. This will be the downfall of the USA and the loss of all personal freedom and free thought. To think we have young men and women bleeding and dying so that this form of expression can be perpetuated is almost too much to bear. However, isn't that the cost of our own freedom...to allow the most venal, crass, and evil politicians to spout their lies so that I and mine can strive to find and cling to truth? No, freedom is never free or easy, but is the constant fight of the civilized against the barbarian hordes of the ignorant and their power-hungry leaders. --Voire Dei (talk) 07:28, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
