When writing a comment re a diff, why didn't my comment work like this?

"Warning {see also prior edit" }."

Is there some extra trick needed, to hide the http: etc. in the edit comment on the contribs. page?

You can't put links of any kind in edit summaries; they can only contain plain, vanilla text. I'd probably put 'See also prior edit by same user, 23:22, 16 April 2009' or something.

Also - please remember to *always* sign - even talkback; even in sandbox

Sorry to butt in, but you can put wikilinks in :-p WP:LIKETHESE and they'll show up as clickable in the edit summary. Killiondude (talk) 19:31, 22 April 2009 (UTC)
