My real name is Susan Alkire. I am currently a sixth grade teacher at Romney Middle School in Hampshire County, West Virginia and also a part time online course developer and e-learning course facilitator for the West Virginia Department of Education. In addition, I serve as the webmaster for the Romney Middle School website and am developing some educational resources online to coincide with my new job for next year as a Technology Integration Specialist for the county school system. I am interested in all aspects of using technology for educational purposes.

I recently wrote my first article for WP about Romney Middle School and hope to add more articles and information on topics about which I am familiar. I would enjoy contact from other teachers who have used WP in classroom instruction. I also value constructive criticism about any article that I have written or might write in the future and appreciate any tips and suggestions for using WP more effectively.
