Just an old Engineer from the States, slowly making this user-page a bit less drab. :) Retired with a lot of time on my hands and Wikipedia editing has become just another hobby of mine. I'm not entirely new to Wikipedia, I had contributed a bit back in 2004, but I still have a lot to learn. I hope to be a valuable contributor and enjoy learning from my betters and the many veterans here. I mostly contribute to pages involving distance education, music, and technology. I also enjoy fixing typos and the general copy-edit. You can find me with a cup o' joe at the Wikipedia:Teahouse, I'll be the one reading.

Newest things I have learned from veteran editors[edit]

  1. Ordinal indicators and superscript are not required in dates.
  2. How to properly capitalize headings. (WP:MOS)
  3. Do not use in line external links.
  4. Only use independent secondary sources for citations, primary sources are not valid.
  5. Help:Cheatsheet is my buddy.
