Short Bio: I am a recent political science PhD graduate currently based in Washington, D.C. I also have a BA and a MA in political science. My research interests include cultural hegemony, Marxist economic and social theory, culture and imperialism, and dependency theory. I am also an amateur historian interested in the rise of Western bourgeois liberal capitalism in the 19th century up to and including the present era, as well as medieval Japanese history (specifically the Sengoku Jidai period). I'm also interested in military history (but I promise I'm not weird about it!), usually how it intersects with political events and ideologies.

Editing: I joined Wikipedia to add to the sum of cited, reliable knowledge here. I am not aware of any conflict of interest and did not join Wikipedia with any ideological motive. I look forward to working constructively and collaboratively with other users.

Lately I've been trying to improve and add biographies for people who fought in the Russian Civil War, Polish-Soviet War, and the Eastern Front of WW2.
