Ronda Jean Rousey (born February 1, 1987) is a American Professional Wrestler, Actress, former judoka and mixed martial artist. She is currently signed with WWE where she performs on the SmackDown Brand on Friday Nights. Ronda Rousey is mostly know for her time in Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Her longstanding nickname "Rowdy" was inherited from the legendary, Professional wrestler Roddy Piper

Professional Wrestling Career[edit]

At The 2018 Royal Rumble Ronda Rousey made herself known and made an appearance and pointed at the WrestleMania Sign while also pointing at herself indication she was making an appearance at WrestleMania 34. She then went on to sign with them at Elimination Chamber 2018 and then to put the legendary wrestler Triple H through a table she then made herself know on an episode of Raw where she challenged Stephine McMahon to a match at WrestleMania where Kurt Angle challenged Triple H and Stephine McMahon to a Mixed Tag Team Match for WrestleMania. Ronda and Kurt Angle teamed up to take on Stephanie McMahon and Triple H where Ronda Rousey won her debut match by making Steph tap out in Ronda's Famous Arm Bar. Ronda went on to make regular appearances on Monday Night Raw and then got challenged by the at the time Raw Women's Champion Nia Jax. At Money in The Bank 2018 Ronda Showed her strength and her full ability on her opponent and was about to win the match when Miss Money In The Bank at the time Alexa Bliss showed up in the ring and attacked Ronda and Nia to then cash in on Nia to become the Raw Women's Champion. Ronda was suspended from WWE on an episode of Raw for attacking Numerous WWE Officials including Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle and Alexa Bliss leading to her 30 day suspension. Ronda Decided to not obey her suspension and showed up and attacked Mickie James and Alexa Bliss where Kurt Angle extended her suspension but said that if she could stay home and obey her suspension she would get a Raw Women's Championship Match at Summerslam 2018. Ronda got her Match at Summer Slam and became the 14th Raw Women's Champion. Ronda Rousey was a fighting champion and defended it 10 times at many pay-per view's such as Hell In A Cell 2018 and in the Main Event of the all women's Pay-Per View WWE Evolution then she lost her title to Becky Lynch in the First Women's WrestleMania Main Event at WrestleMania 35 which ended her impressive 232 day reign and ended her first reign in WWE as she was trying for a baby. And in 2022 at the 2022 Royal Rumble Ronda Rousey Returned in the number 28 spot in the Women's Royal rumble Match where she won and made her appearance on raw after the rumble. and told everyone in attendance that they would have her answer to who she would challenge at WrestleMania on smackdown that week. Ronda made her first appearance on SmackDown for the first time where she challenged Charlotte Flair For The SmackDown Women's Championship where charlotte would go on to say that her championship was prettier than Ronda's Baby which lead to an attack on charlotte flair. Ronda Made Regular appearances on smackdown leading up to WrestleMania 38 with promos and attacks then Ronda had her first match on SmackDown Ever against Sonya Deville where Ronda won. then came WrestleMania and Ronda was amazing and even pinned charlotte but after the referee counted to three the ref realized that charlotte had her foot on the bottom rope then when the ref was down Charlotte tapped out to Ronda's signature move The Arm Bar but when Ronda got the ref up it was to late charlotte had hit Ronda with a big boot and pinned her for the 3 count to retain her title. The SmackDown after WrestleMania Ronda Challenged Charlotte flair to an "I Quit" Match which Charlotte declined but yet WWE Management made it an official match for WrestleMania Backlash 2022.

UFC Career[edit]

Ronda Rousey was part of the company's first ever female fight at UFC 157, was their inaugural Women's Bantamweight Champion, and holds the record for most UFC title defenses by a female. Rousey retired from MMA in 2016 and was the first female fighter inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame in 2018.

Summary[edit]

Rousey is the only woman to be the champion in both the UFC and WWE, as well as the only woman to headline a pay-per-view event in both companies. She was voted the best female athlete of all-time in a 2015 ESPN fan poll, and Fox Sports described her as "one of the defining athletes of the 21st century. Rousey has also appeared in films, including The Expendables 3 (2014), Furious 7 (2015), and Mile 22 (2018), and released her autobiography My Fight / Your Fight in 2015.
