M.S.61 is an middle/intermideate school located in Crown Heights Brooklyn.Located on 400 Empire Boulevard, Brooklyn NY, M.61 offers various amounts of programs. The grade levels available are 6 through 8 grade. The school also has different academies. Apex academy is for 6 through 7 graders. Global Academy is for 8 graders. Lastly Britou-Moore Academy is the last academy. Dedicated to the lost lives of Marc Britou and Jason Moore, this academy strives for perfection. The students wear blazers for their uniform. The grades available are 6 through 8. During year 8 of Britou Moore Acaademy students are offered to take the regents. The regents included are Algebra, Living Environment, United States History and Government, Global, and the Spanish Proficincy.
