About[edit]

As an architectural historian I have decided to enter into the fray of what is wikipedia. I have only just started, and have not yet decided where I will focus my attention. More or less I am navigating through the proliferating mass of literature and guidlines surrounding the wikipedia project, just getting a handle on the basic protocol and standards of the project.

Interests[edit]

My main interests are focused in Modern architecture of the 19th and 20th centuries, but often expand into other areas such as urban issues, histories of architectural thought, as well as too many other to list. I am also invested in modern and contemporary art, ideas surounding movement and locomotion (ie. transit, motorcycles, track bicycles, airplanes and automobiles), as well as general and disintrested intresets in ancient and modern history (but nothing inbetween), semiotics, literature, and anything Canadian, quebecois, or French (like France, baguettes, petit four, gitan cigarettes, and Serge Gainsbourg).

You Gotta Live Somewhere[edit]

I live and work in Toronto, so I will be filling in any ommissions and discrepncies relating to architecture and historical matters of Toronto. Most of my research is focused here on a local context, but I believe that much of this research is of course valuable to the architectural communty at large.

Little Things That I Do Not Find Visually appealling (But Am Compelled To Use Them For Praticality)[edit]
