A Bit About Me[edit]

I've had this account for some time, but due to school and such, have only been earnestly editing for roughly a month as of March 27th, 2007. And that was spent reading guidelines and studying the habits of other editors so I should do a better job.

I have been chiefly devoting my time to improving the Scientology-based articles here. Don't really have a reason other than that it seemed a decent hobby. I'm thinking of branching out into some other projects, possibly Religion in general.

Currently a student, doing my BA in Lit. and Theology, (double major) so may be prone to patches of spotty attendance here, but will generally answer messages left on my talk page in a timely manner.

Am a practicing Discordian. Make of that what you will. I'm generally considered a black sheep, due to being sane.

That's about all for now.

For the patience you showed in dealing with my confusion/miscommunication - in a most kind and courteous manner. Thank you. Smee 04:25, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

Departure[edit]

I'm mostly leaving the community for work at Citizendium now. Doesn't mean I won't still edit Wikipedia articles, of course! I'm leaving mostly because of some recent incidents. Some of it is worrying about the identity guideline. Some of it is because I usually edit as anons here and see a wide cross section of things. Some of it is the BLP policy. Most of it is Giving In To Known Extortionists. This edit sums it all up. It took maybe thirty seconds for my comments there to get dropped off as unconstructive. I put a certain degree of real thought to them, but was mostly angry. I'll be around, just not on talk pages. It'll mean I get reverted a lot, but occasionally I'll do some good. Cheers.
