Psmith99 is the archivist for The Willoughby Sharp Archive and works with Sharp on a daily basis to publish facts about his extensive activities in the art world since the late 50s. These include an overview of his career and a complete list of the exhibitions, including artist names, that Sharp has curated since 1964. The Willoughby Sharp Archive consists of as yet unpublished video and audiotapes that Sharp created since the 1970s; copies of catalogues published to accomany the exhibitions he has curated, a complete set of 13 issues of Avalanche magazine; photodocumentation and film footage of historic exhibitions curated by Sharp; photodocumentation of Sharp's videoperformances; correspondence, etc. Psmith99 is also working with Willoughby Sharp on a video oral history of his activities which has a Board of Advisors which includes Art Historians, Curators, Directors of arts organizations and well-known artists in the U.S. and Germany. Peter Weibel, Director of ZKM and a member of the oral history Board of Advisors, has awarded a residency at ZKM (Zentrum fur Kunst un Medientechnologie) in Karlsruhe, Germany in 2007 and 2008 to work on the oral history. Many hours of video for the oral history have been shot since June 2006. Willoughby Sharp's oral history will be published as primary source material for art historians. The Willoughby Sharp Wikipedia page was created to begin to disseminate facts and archival material related to Willoughby Sharp's activities in the art world to those interested in Willoughby Sharp's career and in the history of Post-Modernism. Psmith99 also works with Sharp to prepare presentations on a wide variety of topics related to Willoughby Sharp's historic art career. These presentations have been given since 2005 at museums, colleges and universities in the U.S. and Europe, and are supported by projected video and still images from The Willoughby Sharp Archive.
