  • I am a married, middle-aged, parent of two young children.
  • I am a member of the extended Ritchie Calder family.
  • I am a Unitarian Universalist and an associate member of the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Second Life.
  • I am an active, non-artisan, non-architect, member of the Order of Cosmic Engineers. My role may best be described as "irritant" in that I question and critique everything and everyone. It keeps them honest.
  • I do not consider myself a Transhumanist although I am interested in Transhumanist topics and Transhumanism at large.
  • I 'play' in the digital alternative universe of Second Life, where I manifest as PlanetNiles Dreamscape, better known as "Torraa", "Tara" or just plain "T".
  • I am not a paraplegic genius technologist, although I do believe that greatness comes from overcoming adversity.
