Results of first survey

Thanks to the generous efforts of members of the Mediation Cabal, we collected a large amount of data in our first Wikipedia survey. While the results of the survey will be incorporated into a larger academic paper that will be submitted for publication, we are posting some preliminary results here to both give back to and get feedback from the community. WikiDashboard http://wikidashboard.parc.com , a research prototype from Palo Alto Research Center, is a visualization tool for analyzing users' editing patterns on Wikipedia articles. The tool shows visualizations embedded in live Wikipedia pages to provide social transparency about who edits how many revisions on each Wikipedia page. release note
