My name is Megan King, and I am a senior at Penn State University at the Brandywine Campus. After this semester, I will graduate with a BA in Psychology and my hope is to work with young children as a career. It is interesting to me how language[1] is developed in the beginning stages of our lives and if we have every language naturally encoded into our minds when we are born. I also am interested in whether language is limiting to the emotions we feel and portray to others, and how this effects our relationships with people.

Three articles that are interesting to me:

  1. Multilingualism
  2. Linguistic Determinism
  3. Linguistic relativity and the color naming debate
