In response to your comment on Talk:The Game, what else do you want us to do? I removed the main picture and replaced it with the picture of one of his CDs. Is there anything that I am missing? --Hottentot

The image you uploaded, Image:Bws.JPG, has no source information. The image page currently doesn't specify who created the image, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created the image yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the image on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the image yourself then you should also specify where you found it, ie in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use. Unless the copyright status is provided, the image will be marked for deletion on 24 October 2005.

This message notification has been automatically sent by NotificationBot managed and run by AllyUnion. Please leave comments regarding bot operations at AllyUnion's talk page. Image copyright problem RE: Image:Thegameone.JPG[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Thegameone.JPG. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law. We need you to specify two things on the image description page:

  • The copyright holder, and
  • The copyright status

The copyright holder is usually the creator. If the creator was paid to make this image, then their employer may be the copyright holder. If several people collaborated, then there may be more than one copyright holder. If you created this image, then you are the copyright holder.

Because of the large number of images on Wikipedia, we've sorted them using image copyright tags. Just find the right tag corresponding to the copyright status of this image, and paste it onto the image description page like this: {{TAGHERE}}.

There are 3 basic ways to licence an image on Wikipedia:

  • The copyright holder gets the best protection of his work by licencing their work under an open content license like the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike licence. If you have the express permission of the copyright holder to licence their work under the above licence, use the image copyright tag: {{cc-by-sa-2.5}}. The GNU Free Documentation License is another choice for licencing one's work. Again, if you have the express permission of the copyright holder, use the tag: {{GFDL}}.
  • The copyright holder can also release his work into the public domain, see here for images released into the public domain.
    • Images from certain sources are automatically release into the Public Domain. This is true for most governments like the federal United States government. (See here for images from the government of the USA and here for other governments) However not all governments release their work into the public domain, such as the UK government (See here for images from the UK government). Non-free licence governments are listed here.
  • Also, in some cases, an image is copyrighted but allowed on Wikipedia because of Fair Use. To see if this image qualifies and then how to tag it, see Wikipedia:Fair use.

For any other sources of for more information see Wikipedia:Image copyright tags. Please remember that if you don't tag your images, they will be deleted.

P.S. If you have uploaded other images without including copyright tags, please go back and tag them. Also, please tag all images that you upload in the future.

If you have any questions, just leave a message on my talk page. Thanks again. --Sherool (talk) 16:40, 27 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Stop Snitchin' Stop Lyin[edit]

Good piece, but put that on the article that suitable such as the G-Unot article. Thanks LILVOKA.

This is your last warning. The next time you insert a spam link, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --Nlu 01:01, 7 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for vandalism of Wikipedia. The block is for a period of 120 hours. If you wish to make useful contributions, you are welcome to come back after the block expires. This unusually long block is because you faked protection on the page Aftermath Entertainment even though you had no administrator rights to do so. This is a serious offense. Do it again and you will get a much longer block. --Nlu 01:04, 7 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with Image:Eastwoodbws.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Eastwoodbws.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Thank you. Nv8200p talk 09:09, 4 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Lil.JPG. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created the media yourself then it needs to be specified where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, consider reading fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

BWS/G-Unit[edit]

It's complicated with BWS, but here is as much as anyone knows.

  • Nu Jerzey Devil
  • Charlie Baltimore
  • Ya Boy
  • DJ Skee

As for the rest of them

  • Cyssero- Techincally I'm pretty sure he was never officaly signed, but he did agree in principal to work with BWS. Still a big question mark, but he said he was still cool with Game.
  • Techinic- Left
  • Eastwood- Left
  • Young Life- Left Big Fase's label and is hanging around with Game. Nothing is offical though.

G-Unit- 50, Banks, Bucks, Yayo, Olivia, Mobb Deep, M.O.P., Ma$e, Spider Loc. Lil' Jon's label as a joint venture with G-Unit records (hence Lil' Scrappy's name on the G-Unit Records article).

Please[edit]

This is the last time we're going at the continous reverting of the article. As before, you seem to lack the responsiblities of making a good article. Now I am proposing a request to have your user IP number(s) on the Three Strikes policy. You seem also to have vandalized my page and among other things. Now you have a choice, either we can work out a compromise to piecing The Game (or related to The Game articles) or you can take the officially blocked choice. Now really, what does it take for you to be a good writer when you leave all that on the pages! Let's work out a compromise! Thanks LILVOKA

Image copyright problem with File:Charlibb.JPG[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Charlibb.JPG.

License tagging for Image:Dub.JPG[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Dub.JPG. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Blocked[edit]

You have been blocked for one month. Your long-term violations of Wikipedia's image copyright and fair-use requirements after numerous warnings are extremely concerning. --Yamla 17:52, 3 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It has become apparent that your account is only being used for vandalism, so it has been blocked indefinitely.
