Shem von Schroeck (born 1965) is an American singer, multi-instrumentalist and composer, known as a former member of Ambrosia, as well as a backing musician for Toto, Kenny Loggins, Don Felder, Steve Perry and Gary Wright.[1]

Early life[edit]

Schroek is the eldest son of composer Artie Schroeck, with whom he collaborated with on many jingles that he composed, playing either drums or bass.[2] He learned how to play the drums at the age of 3, then piano, and began playing bass at the age of 12.
