FunctionGeologist

Motto"Know the conflict within, before facing the conflict without."
Alternate modesCybertronian Car
Dune Buggy

Beachcomber's bio presented him as somewhat of a pacifist. He hates fighting, and prefers the solitude of just driving through Earth's scenery, like coastal areas and deserts. This is not to say he's a coward - he'll fight when required, but simply hates doing it. His personality is very cool and collected. [2]

The cool-headed peace seeker, Beachcomber (Déferlo in French Canada, Pulce in Italy) was a blue dune buggy in vehicle mode. To apparently reflect this vehicle's association with nature his character was as pacifistic as any Autobot could come. He seemed to have an almost magical connection to nature.

Brainstorm is an Autobot introduced in the 1987 Headmasters sub-line of Generation 1. He has the Headmaster partner Arcana, a humanoid medical doctor from the planet Nebulos, and he turns into a Cybertronian jet. Both Brainstorm and his partner Arcana were responsible for the adaption of the Headmaster process in most continuities. He is a scientist, responsible for many scientific discoveries. [4]

His Nebulan partner is almost as much a genius.[5]

Chase[edit]

AffiliationAutobot
Sub-groupThrottlebots
FunctionScout
Motto"Hunters drive; targets park."
Alternate modesFerrari Testarossa

Impatient, overeager, usually ten miles down the road before other Throttlebots have shifted into gear. As a warrior, Chase's only outstanding asset is his staunch courage, but it's his attitude that earns him his many friends in the Autobot ranks. As fast as he drives, he talks even faster. He usually dominates the conversation, which only a few mind because of his fantastic storytelling skills. He’s extremely popular among the Autobots.

He is one of the six Throttlebots and he can transform in to a Ferrari Testarossa. In car mode, Chase can reach a cruising speed of 240 mph. He has extremely well developed optical sensors in his head and headlights. He can see an object the size of a tennis ball at two miles and his excellent peripheral vision gives him approximately a 270-degree viewing range. So for example he can see simultaneously in front of him and on both sides. Embedded under his car mode’s roof is an array of small radar dishes that allow him to detect moving objects as small as a toaster from horizon to horizon. He also has the ability to lock in on orbiting satellites and bounce radar signals off of them, which allows him some over-the-horizon radar abilities.

Chromia[edit]

In-universe information
AffiliationAutobot
Sub-groupBasic Vehicles, Female Transformers
FunctionWarrior
PartnerFallback, Ironhide, Ricochet
Motto"Let actions speak for you."
Alternate modesCybertronian Van, Cybertronian Motorcycle

Chromia is one of Elita One's most skilled and trusted field commanders. Her flair for battlefield improvisation is legendary, and she is very good at interpreting orders to best fit a changing situation. She is fluid in handling unexpected circumstances and compensating immediately. Chromia is one of many female Autobots that fought alongside Elita One during the Great Cybertronian War. She enjoys her life as a fighter, and shows personality and interests similar to her Autobot love, Ironhide.

Most Transformers and many humans tend to underestimate her abilities as a warrior. Chromia enjoys using this misconception and the response she gets once her allies (and enemies) discover just how ruthless and deadly she can be. Chromia is one of the original warrior femmes. She is an exceptional pilot and an experienced leader. An excellent tactician and leader, she often gets frustrated when troops don't follow orders to the letter during missions. She is sometimes overconfident in her abilities, and forgets that she isn't built as strong as some of her fellow Autobots. Therefore, she tends to need patched up a bit more often than her fellow Cybertronians.
