iOsael Purple Project is a Belgian EBM/industrial band, founded in 2010 by iOsaël Purple (aka Mike Van Aerschot) and Joke Magnüssen (aka Stéphane Magnien), but also a multidisciplinary artist duo.

Band history[edit]

After releasing Iosael out of his grave, Joke directly proposed making art together. Currently, Joke plays strange and complex machinery whose sole purpose is to distort the hearing. iOsaël sings, shouts, utters sounds from beyond the grave and dances.

They do sculpture, painting, drawing, photography, video, installations, performances, but always in a dark and sometimes surreal environment.

The duo also runs creative workshops for children where they take them in a magical fantasy world.
