Lblanchard, now retired, was executive director of the Philadelphia Area Consortium of Special Collections Libraries from 1995-2020. In her spare time, she served as webmaster for the Richard III Society, American Branchin a desultory fashion [1995-2005] and is active on other internet fora. She originally registered with Wikipedia to correct some of the woollier notions on the Richard III, King of England page and now drops by occasionally to view topics of interest to her.

Lblanchard also is the creator of the now mostly moribund Northwest South Philly website and solemnly avers that no one actually calls the neighborhood by that name, ever! -- except Lblanchard when she protests against various fancypants and/or hipster names for her corner of South Philadelphia.

Lblanchard uses her real name as her user name.
