That Fucking Tank are an alternative rock duo from Leeds, England. They formed in August 2003, have so far released 3 albums and are celebrating their 10th year of playing together.
History[edit]
Andy Abbott (baritone guitar played simultaneously through multiple amplifiers) and James Islip (drums) have been performing under the name That Fucking Tank since 2003 after getting together for a one-off performance. They run their own record label named Obscene Baby Auction[1] where they have released EPs and albums by themselves and other artists.

A long list of gigs the band has played is available on their website[5] which has multiple gigs around Leeds, the UK and European touring but notable gigs the band have played include ones with Yourcodenameis:milo, Lightning Bolt, Oxes, Melt Banana and the 2008 BBC Introducing stage at Leeds and Reading Festivals [6]

Andy Abbott performs with Leeds 'supergroup' (also featuring members of Cowtown and Mucky Sailor) Nope[7], Elizabeth (solo improvisation / noise / acoustic) and Brass (with members of Shield Your Eyes and Spy vs Spy).
James Islip performs in punk band The Magnificent[8] and as Jimmy Islip[9] for his acoustic singer/songwriter solo act.
